Massey Ferguson designed and developed the Series 2000 tractors in the late 1970s, in France, for varied and often difficult cultivation conditions. Improvements to the hydraulic system and a four-wheel drive system led to the development of ultrasophisticated and increasingly sturdy machines, with sufficiently powerful wheels, power take-off and lifting capabilities to enable the use of all modern instruments and machines.
